Our clients came to us from the best possible place — a referral from another kitchen remodel we completed last year. After moving into their home a couple of years ago, they loved the layout and architectural details but were ready to update the overall look and feel of the main floor living spaces. With features like barrel ceilings, tall walls, hardwood floors, and an open-concept layout, this home had great bones — it just needed a fresh, modern touch.

As part of the remodel, we gave the kitchen a stylish refresh. We updated the cabinetry with new doors and drawer fronts in a more modern profile. Open shelving was converted to closed storage for a cleaner look, and brushed gold knobs and pulls were added throughout. New pendant lighting over the island was selected to coordinate with the updated hardware and complete the transformation.
Custom Wood Hood
Our team also custom-built a new curved wood hood, carefully scribed to fit the unique barrel ceiling. The upper portion was painted to match the cabinetry, while the lower trim piece was stained and finished to coordinate with the new railing system — a small detail that added warmth and continuity throughout the space.
Trimwork Remodel
While we kept the original trim profile, we primed and painted all the trim, doors, and windows to modernize the look. We also updated the fireplace tile for a more current and refined aesthetic.
