✔ We've met at your home for the first time to discuss your project

✔ We've met with you at our office to review your design agreement and ballpark range for the construction of your remodel

✔ You've decided to move forward with Pinnacle for the design of your project and have signed your design agreement...

Now what?

In the video below, Pinnacle owner, Christian Raab explains what to expect during the design process when working with Pinnacle.

With interior design with Pinnacle, the next step is a thoughtful, detailed process built to make construction smoother later. At Pinnacle Remodel, we believe every successful remodel starts with good, fresh design. The more time we spend upfront developing the details, the less disruptive the construction phase tends to be in your home.

It Starts in Your Home

Our design process begins where the project lives: your home. This is where we study the space, listen to your goals, and understand what is not working right now. We want to know your vision, but we also want to know your pain points. Maybe the layout feels cramped, the storage is lacking, or the room simply does not support the way you live.

This early stage of interior design with Pinnacle is about clarity. Before floor plans and finishes, we need a strong understanding of the space and the problems we are solving.

From Ideas to Layouts

Once we gather that information, our team goes to the drawing board. This is where design begins to take shape through:

  • Layout options

  • Floor plans

  • 3D renderings

  • Concepts tailored to your space

We then meet back at our office to walk through those ideas together. This is a key part of interior design with Pinnacle because design is not something we do in isolation. It is collaborative. We want honest feedback about what you like, what you do not like, and even what you absolutely hate. That response helps us refine the direction of the project.

A Team Effort, Not a One-Meeting Decision

Depending on the size and complexity of your remodel, this may take several meetings. That is normal. Great design usually involves some back and forth. Our founder has long emphasized that the goal is not to rush to a final answer. The goal is to arrive at the right answer.

At Pinnacle Remodel, we treat interior design with Pinnacle as a team effort between you and our designer. As the plan becomes more dialed in, confidence grows. By the time we move beyond the layout, the project should feel intentional, not guessed at.

Making Selections That Fit the Design

After the floor plan is close to final, we shift into selections. This is where the visual side of the project starts to come together. We work through the materials and finishes that support the design direction, such as:

  • Cabinets

  • Tile

  • Backsplash

These choices are not treated as separate from the layout. They are part of the overall design solution. In interior design with Pinnacle, selections are made to fit the space, the plan, and the project as a whole.

Bringing Construction Into the Process

Once the design and selections are developed, our designer presents the proposed plan to our construction team. This is an important checkpoint. There is often discussion between design and construction to make sure everything works well not just on paper, but in the real-world building process.

That coordination is one of the biggest reasons we value a thorough design phase. It helps reduce surprises later and supports a smoother remodel.

The Final Design Review

The design process wraps up with a final meeting that includes you, our designer, and our construction team. During this meeting, we review the complete design in detail. We also go through the scope of work line by line and discuss the costs associated with the design.

By this point, interior design with Pinnacle has moved from ideas to a clear, coordinated plan. Everyone understands the direction, the work involved, and what comes next.

Why the Process Takes Time

Many homeowners are surprised by how long design can take. We understand that. But we have learned through the years that spending time up front is worth it. When details are resolved before construction begins, the build tends to be less disruptive and more efficient.

At Pinnacle Remodel, we do not see design as a delay. We see it as preparation. And good preparation leads to a better remodeling experience.

If you are considering an interior design project with us, that is what you can expect: collaboration, careful planning, and a process built to support a smoother construction phase from start to finish. Let’s get started on your dream interior project.
